Heartland Trial

Goal 1

This several-month trial involves people from the community in two trial locations in Arizona, USA who are coming together in an exciting new way to test the assumptions that a trio of cooperatives can carry out harmoniously all the duties that each one agrees to perform. This is done with local land owners and/or public land agreements.

Each small group representing one of the cooperatives will work together onsite and harmonize with the other groups as well as the surrounding community through discussions that will all be recorded.

Goal 2

There’s another purpose for this trial, probably the most important one. It involves the training for each cooperative. This training, intended for older primary school students, is to be quickly developed by a consortium of universities and then translated into many languages via university language specialists. This is to blanket the Earth with the knowledge that everyone can do the same, quickly restoring Earth and providing food and clean water security for all life.

Goal 3

From this point all recordings are to be distributed as quickly as possible to put them in the hands of governments around the world, primary schools, and local community organizations everywhere. This can be done through digital resources, library inclusions in communities and government-shared documents. This plan is in the works.

Sierra Vista Heartland Trial

The City of Sierra Vista, Arizona, USA has offered us vacant land in a mixed-income neighborhood. This land happens to be in a flash flood zone… perfect for harvesting that rainwater! The three cooperative groups will choose edible permaculture plants and design the harvesting paths. As of June 15, 2023, the planning has begun, and as of October 2023, Reap Goodness has a dedicated community organization, the Echoing Hope Ranch, as a maintenance partner.

Superior, AZ Heartland Trial

This location adjoins the Boyce Thompson Arboretum near Superior, Arizona, USA. As volunteers join together, this good location has potential for growing permaculture foods while cleansing highway runoff with water cleansing plants.

It also provides an outstanding view and opportunities to support local wildlife with intentional plantings for them.
